On 13 May 2022, the Official Gazette Turkish “T.C. Resmî Gazete” newspaper published a copy of Resolution No. 5554 issued by the Presidential Cabinet, amending the regulations of obtaining the Turkish nationality through investing in real estate in Turkey.
This resolution raises the minimum amount of real estate property investment by foreigners who want to buy properties for sale in Turkey to be eligible for the Turkey citizenship from $250,000 to $400,000.
The new law, according to the newspaper, will be implemented a month after its publishing date, which means you still have time to buy properties for sale in Turkey for only $250k until 12 June 2022.
